    OK, I took all your advice and finished this quilt. I can't thank you all enough and appreciate all your comments. I have mailed it to my daughter who will raffle it off at her child's school. The money received goes to the school. I hope it brings in a lot money. :-)

    The small piece on the back is part of the original fabric

    That turned out really pretty. Well done for finishing it and giving it to such a good cause. I know it's tough to finish something you're not sure about - I have a cupboard full of WIPs to prove it! LOL

    Honestly, that is really beautiful! How can you not love it? It is very delicate looking and serene. I love the way you finished it off!

    I hope it raises a lot of money for the school.

    It's pretty. If you don't like it you can still finish it and give it as a gift--people in nursing homes, hospitals, and babies can use something small to add warmth.
