    What a fabulous and fun quilt for your daughter...I too, was wondering about all those letters/words but the outcome is worth it. Congratulations to your daughter in her university acceptance.

    It's a beauty! Back when I learned chemistry there were a lot more missing elements and for a long time I could still draw out the chart. But how do you know they are missing? Apparently it's in the mathematic progression, there had to be something there...

    I've been playing in my mind how to do a DNA quilt as a bargello to get that double helix design... probably will never be made but it's a fun project to think about.
