Default One of my antique treasures.

I was blessed to have acquired three quilts by Mrs Ruth Dixon of Tennessee that were made and hand quilted by her in the 1930's. This is a picture of one of them, Sun Bonnet Sue. The work is exquisite.

Sorry for the double picture but don't know how to remove it. Please excuse the shadow on the quilt.

It's beautiful! So glad it has a home where it is appreciated.

It's beautiful.....thanks for sharing with us. I love vintage and antique quilts and handwork. Just so well made, with often limited funds and certainly not all the equipment we have today.
