    Thank you all for the your most encouraging and kind comments but, it is not me who get to go the birthday party it's our daughter (Grandma). Sorry for the misunderstanding ----but I sure would like to be there. So I stayed home and helped my friend rip out a row of messy quilting instead. It is always more fun when there are two of you, at least you have someone to vent to, she always calls me when there is ripping to do. Again thank you

    Dodie the dog is a yellow lab that looks like Rusty our pooch. It's a throw that my son gave me for christmas a couple of years ago. ok I just re-read that Dodie I will try to take picture

    It almost looks like there are hearts and flowers in the quilting. Beautiful. So glad you mentioned that bit about wrapped gifts through airport security. I'll remember that one. You had such a great idea, making a matching bag and it's the perfect gift bag.
