    Default Paper Doll Quilt

I have been determined to learn FMQ, and have been practicing on baby quilts. This quilt was a quick put together as the blocks are cut from a panel. I just thought it was a cute girl baby quilt.

One of the fellows at work had a baby girl on the weekend, and this is little Isabel's quilt. The FMQ hardly shows, which was my plan, so it isn't worth doing a close up photo of it. I'm sure little Isabel will not care.

I love the fabric and paper dolls. I played with paper dolls a LOT when I was a child.

Those little dolls remind me of the paper dolls I played with in the 1940's.

Love it. I used to make more dresses by tracing the ones that came with the set and coloring them. Some times I used to make some of the dolls with the short hair look like boys.

That brings back memories of playing with paper dolls as a child.

    Cute quilt.
