    Default Paris Memories

A friend took her 9 yr old grand daughter to Paris France. (Sound like one of those movies I always wanted to be in when I was young.) This is her memory quilt.

We decided to finish it with a light, simple 'ribbon' meander in pink and lime green. The colours of the thread really pop on the black borders.

You're right: that thread does a great job in lighting up the border. Super!

What a terrific idea. I like to see big blocks for a child’s quilt so they can enjoy the fabric.

Such a nice memory quilt. It will be treasured for a long time. Where on earth did you find the fabrics with Paris items on them? My granddaughter is 11 and wants to someday go to Paris. Thought I would make her a quilt with Paris fabrics but have not been able to locate. Any information on the fabrics would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of thread did you use? I want to "light up" a quilt too.
