Robert, I'm sorry that happened to the lace, but I agree that you do beautiful work and we all have moments when things don't go as planned. So now she had a "design opportunity" and I'm sure it will all come out in the end.
I've just finished the top you sent me for your friend. I hope both you and your friend will like what I've added to it.

My Dear Friend and a fabuloso artist.

Thank you for your wisdom. there is just something in me when I don't do a good job that ecks me. Like I have let someone down. But I will honor the navajo tradition right with ya. I am not perfect, there I said it.
Diane, here is what I am going to send to you 4 victorian women and 4 victorian men, and a very elegant paisley fabric in dark red.
then you get to choose and maybe add it at the end, and the rest of the lace left.

A real Navajo rug will purposely have a "mistake". I, personally, have had no trouble respecting that tradition!! It is supposed to be handmade. Relax.
End of today's lecture from an old art teacher and a loving friend. Dotty

OMG, this group never ceases to amaze me! I have not been getting notified again........I just hate this new site and all the crap that it has brought! It is so frustrating to have to sit and read through 3 days of posts to try to figure out what is going on.

On the other hand, it was wonderful to see the pictures of the quilts that have been posted.
This weekend I finished the top I have from Carsey (Eagle center) with a gold marbled/crackle fabric and the Country House/Barn panel with green check sashing and gold flying geese and English paper pieced flower cornerstones. They will go in tomorrows mail. I will take pictures tomorrow and try to post them for all to see.

I believe you get the Eagle center next, I just did a 4" plain border so you would have a bigger canvas for your embroidery.........hope you enjoy yourself with this one.
