Default Peacock Stack N Whack Finished

I recently got this back from the longarmer's. She did stippling, meandering, outlining, and beautiful work in the stack n whack blocks to resemble tailfeather's eyes. Not sure you can see real well because a lot was done in black. I did put Swavorski crystals in the center panel but hard to photograph. Perhaps in the closeup you can see some in the head plumes. I have been anxious to get this one DONE and see how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it. These are some of my favorite colors and combinations of colors. Being held up by DB and DNephew.

Some of the individual blocks. I did all stacked fabric. The pinwheels were 4-patch posies, then the hexagons and then the octagons. Sort of a stack and whack sampler.
Trying to capture blue thread in the quilting in the plates. She did such a good job.

Trying to show the crystals which did add a bit of sparkle to it.

The backing was a wonderful batik that echoed the colors on the front. Have a great weekend everyone and I hope you like my finished quilt.

Wonderful job. Would not of thought to use that fabric as a stack and whack.
