Pink Chalk Studios Mail Sack
#1
Hi everyone.
I just finished off this bag yesterday - it is quite roomy. We are taking a trip to Ontario in a few weeks and are planning a few day trips to Canada's Wonderland, Ontario Place, etc. I wanted a bag big enough to carry hats, water, snacks, sunglasses, etc, but still be comfy. This is worn cross-body so there is less shoulder strain.
It turned out really cute (I think so anyhow!) and the pattern was so wonderful. Best instructions ever.
Here is a link to purchase the pattern if anyone is interested:

mygirl66 - I agree that $12 is a good deal. It is a really nice pattern with a stapled instruction booklet, and the pattern pieces are printed on nice thick paper stock, not flimsy tissue. I found my pattern on discount at a craft show for $9, but I would have paid the $12 without a doubt, just for the style of the bag. Now that I've made it and know what a nice pattern it is and how well drafted it is, $12 seems a steal.
You should make it! It's a perfect summer beach or shopping bag. Or, dare I say, quilt shop hop bag. :)
