Morning everyone. This is one I made for a friends first grandchild! At first, I didn't like the top, but now that its done and going in the mail, I kinda like it.

Tried a new trick for me with regards to the label. I used adhesive spray on a small bit of fabric then adhered it to some cardstock, used Word for my printing and then just ran it through the top feed tray on my Canon printer! It's been washed and dried, so far the wording is still there!

very cute! and a very good way to make lables, i do it that way alot...
everyone just remember...if you are going to use your printer to make a label (or any other fabric printing) be sure to wash and dry the fabric first using NO fabric softener. (fabric sheets made for printing are already ready) and make sure what ever you adhere your fabric to to run through printer (freezer paper, card stock and adhesive...) that the edges are secure, not pulling up...if the edges are loose they can come up while running through the printer and jam it..;makes a big mess...
    don't ask...

i print a pactice label on computer paper, then tape the correct size printer fabric on top of the practice label, then run it thru the printer again. that way i can use up every little piece of the purchased label matarial.

I love the purple. I have never tried printing a label in this manner. I do buy the fabric for your printer in a pkg. but it is expensive. Always by on sale. Am going to try your way.
