    Default Purple rail fence

I had some unique purple fabric that I decided to made a charity quilt from. I decided on a rail fence pattern and have just finished the top.

However, I have now decided I like this quilt enough to keep it...as purple is my favorite color. Luckily I have enough fabric for a second quilt, so I will finish this one for me and make a second for charity.

The outer border has photographed darker than it really is. Visualize it a few shades lighter and matching the darker purple in the rail fence. I am also including a close up of the fabric, as it is rather unique.

    Thanks for looking.

That is unique fabric. It is very visually interesting, so much so that it makes your simple rail fence pattern a real stand out-Super!

Very pretty. It's hard to match purples but you seem to have done it very well. Love the fabric.

Oh, I can see why you want to keep it. Glad you have enough to make another one to pass on to your charity. I love the visual effect of it with those gorgeous colors. Thanks for giving us a peek. How are you going to quilt it?

Just lovely. I think you chose a perfect pattern to show off that fabric.
