Someone posted info about quillows a few weeks ago and I couldn't resist trying to make one. I ended up making three for the daughters of a friend. I picked characters that they like Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Harry Potter. I backed them with Minky (a bit of a challenge) and they are so soft and cuddly.
I have a few more on the list of gifts to make.

They are lots of fun to make. One year for Christmas I made 30. I tend to get carried away when I like to make something.
Be sure to show us the next one you make.:)

Wow, a minkee backed Quillow. Yum.

Yes, minkee can be difficult to work with because it stretches and it is also very messy. However, well worth the effort. I don't do the actual quilting but do use it on the back of a number of my throw quilts. LAer does not complain and it is comfy, cozy and warm.

Haven't made one yet but quillows are on my list.
