    Default Quilt fix

My boyfriend had a friends mom make his mom a quilt about 25 years ago, and the top was fine (silhouetted wolf) but the back was falling apart, batting was balled up and missing. I offered to patch it up. A closer look, and I decided it couldn't be saved. So very carefully, I removed the back and batting, pieced a new back, and tied the quilt. No pictures of the old back, sorry.

Now JJ's mom has the side I pieced showing on he bed and not the wolf. I usually leave it wolf side up

Any time a quilt is save, it is a good thing. Nicely done.

Great idea to piece the back. Nice to have 2 choices to look at with one quilt.

Great save for a good quilt. Moral: don't use inferior backings and battings.
