    Default quilt I call sherbet

My son gave me a paisley print fabric for Christmas and an orange dotted fabric. Neither are fabrics I would have chosen, but I like them. (They just aren't purple. He buys me non-purple on purpose, both because that way he knows I don't have it already and he wants me to "expand my horizons.")

I just finished this quilt that reminds me of orange sherbet ice cream. It is a Double Slice Layer Cake, though I cut my own squares and only used 5 or 6 fabrics, I can't remember which and am too lazy to count.

I think it turned out rather sweet.

    Thanks for looking.

    Dina

I do like those fabrics together. Your son also has a good eye for colors!

I just love those rich colors. It turned out beautifully. It’s good to come out of your rut sometimes.
