    Can someone tell me the name of this quilt....its my ex son in laws and i love it,would love to make one but don't know its name... HELP!!!!!! LOL molly

    that is so pretty,when you do find out the name, i would do it in 30's repo fabrics. beautiful!

    It is most definitely a "Texas Star"!

    According to Barbara Brackman in her "Blockbase", it was first published by Carrie Hall in 1935....just in case you wanted to know that fact! :)

    This is a really sweet quilt, and I live the interesting way they handled the edges.

    I noticed the folded flag on the shelf too, my respects to it as well.

    My first thought was seven sisters, but I'm glad someone has said for sure that it's a Texas star.

    Regardless of the name, it is perfectly displayed. :)

    As a child I slept under one much like that, but all green and yellow, that my grandmother made before I was born.
