    Default Quilt for sister-in-law

This is a biggish lap quilt, 50x60. Simple straight line quilting on my DM and minky-type backing. I did a pink flange on the border and sewed fabric together for a flange binding, but after I sewed the binding to the front of the quilt, I discovered it didn't cover the stitching where the binding was attached to the back. So I stitched down the flange binding with a second topstitch. Oh, well, I hope I remember this and make the flange binding a little wider the next time, maybe 3/16" or so.

My DH's sister will be 80 this year and I hope she likes it.

The flange is a nice addition. Pretty quilt.

What a great setting! I am sure your sil is going to love the minke on the back side. How sweet of you to think to do that for her.
