    I kept forgetting to bring my camera to get a picture of this mural and today I hung the camera around my neck before I left the house :lol: :roll: :lol:
    It is on the side of a building in a town close to where I live. They have a lot of murals all over the town.

    how great is this. if you don't mind can you ballpark where this mural is?

    i love to know about communities that embrace quilters.

    Very nice. I think they are called "Barn Quilts". You can find some on "Barn Quilt Trails" in New York State.

    This one is just south of Olympia WA The rest of the murals in town are from the same time frame but different scenes.

    i googled the ny barn quilts trail and it looks really nice. i'm going to have to do the tour when the leaves start to turn in the fall.

    My town use to do murals like that , but with the hoodlums painting over them , it is pointless. Love the quilting one reminds me of a time and place that was so peaceful :lol:
