To whomever , from Ann Arbor, Michingan, who sent me this small blessing, I say this to you this morning, as I dont know your name, but I do know your heart today. Thank you.. from Aneternal Poet (Karen H. )

On a day where smiles were few
and time seemed to be standing still
I had thought that I've often felt
that is a "Thank you Lord", for a small box that fabric filled

For without these things, a quilt might not be sewn
without thread, it surely would , fall apart
but with an unexpected angel from Ann Arbor today
my day, I know has been blessed with a giving heart

For this one's heart, whose name I do not know
these colorful pieces of cloth have warmed my soul
and because of your generous spirit to me
I want to say, Thank you ,for my smile today, has met my daily goal..

Aren't so many people just wonderful!!! When the negative gets to me, I read a post like yours and feel hopeful again.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem of thanks also.

I totally understand ,Kat.. sometimes life is so very difficult, which for our family it is right now. with a little 10 month old grandson who was born with no vision, and othermedical obstacles, my days are not always smile filled.. unless it is when my little Ollie is with us for the day. Today,l this quick little poem is for someone I dont know .. I hope she sees it..

Maw Maw - I am Mema, lol.. I have a Personal Diary thing here on the board with photos, and things that deal with little Ollieman, and his life.. He is so blessed to have "sew" many quilting aunts here on the board.. They all encourage me, and him in our journey of development.. We are blessed beyond measure for you all!
