Yes, that green is much more calming, relaxing & brighter to work in than the darker green was. Really nice!

I want to see that quilt when you get it quilted. I hope you will post a picture as it is beautiful. I admire someone that has the patience to do hand quilting. I always seem to be in too much of a hurry to even try it. Behr paint is my favorite too and I plan to use it in a condo we just bought.

I will post a pic of the quilt when it is done...but don't hold your breath...it will take me about 4 months to finish this quilt as it is 89 X 104"! And I'm not real fast when it comes to hand quilting!

Pretty room - do you live in an older home - Is that a fireplace in one picture? I love the quilt as well.

    Yes...and Yes...and thank you! LOL

Our house is an old victorian that was built in 1927. We bought it 12 years ago and have been slowly renovating it...one room at a time. We originally renovated this room in 2002 when it was our DD's. She chose dark forest green for the walls. That is what I painted over when I painted it the light green in July! :) In 2002 we pulled up the carpeting and refinished the original pine floors!

This house has 3 original fireplaces, but they are all unusable due to the deterioration of the chimneys. So now they are just decoration and structurally part of the original home.
