    You're right but one could make the same pattern with 8" squares if one so
    desires. Just have to adjust the length of the strips.

    How wonderful! I'm sure the quilter is looking down from Heaven and is delightful that the fabric landed in another quilter's hands. I spent all of last week cutting squares, 6", 7" and 8" and said a prayer that if any were left after I "left" that they wouldn't be trashed. I pray over my huge stash regularly also.

    Put it in your will that your stash is to go to Project Linus, or your local guild, or some other place or person that will make use of it.

    Good idea! I did give my non-sewing daughter (I have only one daughter and she can't even sew a stitch) a list of what goes where, but ...

    Seems as if you now have a large variety of colors and print fabric. A PLUS SIGN quilt would work nicely, or think of all the dresden plates you could make!!
