Default Quilts for GKs were a big hit

Made one for GD (5) and GS (8) - brought them over Saturday. They were received enthusiastically! Lots of hugs for me and the quilts!

The first pic shows the girl's quilt, the second shows the boy's as a top, it was quilted the same way.

One GK left to make a quilt for, but his mom wants it out of his baby clothes, so she needs to get them out and sorted before I can get going. I may have to make him an interim quilt before he gets too big!

I like those "simple" quilts - they seem so "real quilt' to me.

Nice combinations of fabrics in both of them.

Nice quilts. They will always remember that Grandma made them each a quilt.

How sweet is that picture of your beautiful granddaughter! The quilts are precious, too.

Very nice combinations of squares in both quilts. You have a very happy satisfied customer. She will probably be taking it off to college in 13 years.
