    Try the scrappy & the solid on-point & see if you like that look. Breaks up all the straight edges.

    Yes, I like the idea of the off center square in the middle of the solid block, I am a little 'skew-wiff' myself! It would suit very well ha ha, so many decisions, so many great ideas, I shall consider all of them whilst I am making the rest of the blocks, promise to show you all what I decide on!

    I love scrappy quilts also but the solid blocks really look great.

    In the end, it is YOUR quilt. Do it the way you like. I think I have done scrappies in all of the ways suggested. sometimes, I like one way, sometimes another. IMHO, all that really matters is that you like what you are doing.
