I am a big quilter, but got sidetracked with making wool mittens out of old wool sweaters I found at rummage sales and thrift shops. Thanks to all the wonderful members on the board that sent me buttons.

    Lots of Mittens!

Love this idea! Did you use a pattern? Or dream up one on your own?

The mittens are beautiful!! Would you share your pattern? Or perhaps a tutorial?

There was an article in our Sun. paper just yesterday about area women who do this too. It was fun to read about this.

Ok thanks for showing the picture. I recently went with a friend to a thrift store and bought 2 sweaters. She is going to show me how to make these. I just could not visualize them. These are really beautiful. Hope the ones I try come out as good as yours.
