Default Redwork Santas

I am determined to finish quilt tops that are aging in the closet. Here is an old fashioned top that started out as blocks of machine embroidered redwork. They are old world santas trudging in the snow. When I outlined stitched them, they took on a little dimension and has movement to it. I stipples the white area and stitched in the ditch using a walking foot. Just missing the binding. Feels good to check one off my list.

Love your work. Perfect combination of embroidery and pieced quilt. It will be fun to use-next year. It must be a great feeling to say, 'finished'!
