    Such is the case with this Hoffman floral (a thrift store treasure find, by the way) and this Marcus stripe, bought only because a quilt shop was having a great sale and the stripes are always on the sale rack.

    I made 'chevron' units with the striped fabric and framed the floral. Added some four-patch units, and voila!

    This just needs the wide floral border sewn on, and I will take the time to miter it.
