    OMG, how do you do that? I've gotta try! That's just awesome! I recently retired and didn't have alot of time to quilt while I was running my business. I apparently missed out on alot. Please send me a link or let me know what to google.

    This is so neat, another one I have always wanted to try...but probably won't ever. If I had all the quilts done that I have wanted to, I would have a bunch...lol

    In 2008, I decided that I was going to make a pictorial quilt from an actual photograph. With a little help from Photoshop, I was able to edit the photo enough to see what kind of pieces and how many fabrics I would need to recreate it. I made a template and enlarged it. From there, it was a lot of cutting and placing fabric here and there.
    I am in the process of writing a book about it with a goal to have it finished and copyrighted this year.

    I love this! Did you take a class or do you have a book that shows how to make a quilt from a picture? I have a picture of my grandson fishing that I would love to make into a quilt but I have absolutely no idea where to start or how. Thanks for sharing!
