    Default Ruffle Quilt For GDaughter

This ruffle quilt was a quilt-as-you-go made on my serger. The ruffles were gathered on my serger then sewn on with my sewing machine. The fairies are machine embroidered on white fabric than appliqued onto the quilt. As was the fairy tree-house. For those of you who machine embroider, the fairy tree house was a "in-the-hoop" project. This was my first big ITH I have done. It was quite easy. I purchased it at Kreative Kiwi for $1.00. The other 3 fairies are Shari Baldi designs. I wanted to do something simple and use solid fabrics. I have never made a quilt with all solids before. I like the way it turned out. It is for my gdaughter's 6th birthday.

    Thanks for looking
    Peggy
