Thanks Reeskylr. I wasn't too sure what color to put there, but I figured scrappy was scrappy, so that was it. My DH wants me to do another one too, but I think he wants to pick out the colors for me. I think I want to do the next one in 5-inch squares.

Me too, I just got 40 - 5x5 inch squares in a Tonga Treats from Timeless Treasures. They are batik and named
Coastal, so I have blues and tans. It would be interesting to see what kind of stars might go with it.

LOVE this, I'm a huge fan of scrappy 4 and 9-patches (I have a huge box of them made with Billie Lauder's fast/easy technique) ...

The 'stars' are a great touch ... I think I'll make this too, using yellows and oranges for the 'stars'

thanks so much for sharing!

Here is my quilt. I really enjoyed the ride. While I like this quilt the colors just aren't "Me". I will donate it to someone. Whenever I finish a quilt like this I find someone or somewhere to donate it to. Unfortunately it didn't even put s slight dent in my stash. It needs a lot more busting. I will have to join another train ride in the future. Judy thanks for doing this. The second picture is a doll quilt I made out of the little triangles we cut off. I couldn't bear to throw them out. That one will go to Salvation Army for their toys for tots program. See everyone next train ride. I look forward to seeing everyones finished.

I really like how this mystery scrap quilt came out. I think I am going to add a red border at a later date. I have to get another quilt done for a friend before I can work on this one again.
