just in awe of your log cabin! Love how you have your stips organized too! What an idea! I have been using shirt boxes and marking on them! either way works, but that encourages me to cut blocks and straps as I go. Then I will always have some ready when I need it!

Can only agree with all the wows and praise on both sides of the quilt. My question tho is about the backing piece. Is there a pattern for that? I understand that it's a "scrappy", however, I don't know if that means there is no pattern. Can you share how you put it together? Is there a tutorial or something that I can go to so that I can end up with something like your backing piece? I love it almost more than the log cabin top. And yes, my scraps are going to start growing from this moment on. I have been throwing those little guys away 8^(

For the backing I just took the large scraps and started figuring out how to put them together. It's based on the blocks in the yellow brick road pattern, but I didn't actually use that pattern.
