Remember the quilt I posted just a few days ago? photo one.
The purple stands out as blue, but it is not as intense as the photo makes it look. All the fabric is the same value.

Well, I had lots of scraps as I decided to cut the pinwheel down to a 9.5 in; it began as a 12 in. sq. So...what was I going to do with all those scraps? I did not want to store them along with lots of other bits and pieces I alreay have stored, so I just began sewing. I also had 6 of the pinwheel sqs. left over. I put them all together and got a second quilt - lap size out of just the scraps. photo 2. These two quilts came from just 28 FQs and border fabric!

It was fun to just throw the pieces together to see what I could come up with. I like it.

I looked at some of the pictures of quilts you all have posted this evening and without realzing it I was saying, "ooh", "wow", "oh, my" out loud and my husband came in the craft room to see what it was all about. He said a few "oohs" and "wows" himself when I showed him some of the beautiful things you are doing. As always, thanks for sharing your wonderful work.

    Blessings
