Default Self Binding, Borders finished Purple Hawaiin Inspired Quilt

I finished the Hawaiian quilt. I did end up doing the self binding. I used the front fabric to self bind to the back. I think this worked pretty well since I made and quilted the borders separate from the main body of the quilt and attached them at the end. This made self binding easier.

For the Borders I did a plain dark border as was suggested and I added a few turtles. I'm going to try the piano border sometime though!

I"m glad it's done. Thanks for all the help Quilting Board.

I should have added I designed the quilt but the Hawaiian flowers came from Elizabeth Root's Hawaiian Quilting book.
