sewing with monofil thread

I've always hated sewing with monofilament thread, but I also hated the look I was getting with this block.
So, I made myself use it anyway, and I think it turned out pretty good. So, this ole dog learned something today. I think the block on the right is a little "lopsided", or something so think I will redo this one.

I don't care for mono-filament thread either so I would have had the patient to changed thread to match the fabric. Good luck with getting this quilt finished.

Fine fabric/pattern choices. Looks fine to me. I like that you got 2 big fancy flowers on the teapot.

I've never used monofilament thread either, I prefer to match to the piece i'm working on. Love your fabrics.

I have used nylon mono-filament thread with great success. For my machine, Jukik TL2010Q, loosening top tension A LOT was the key to success!

I used monofilament thread recently to ditch-stitch on my longarm. I was happy that the stitches were so much less visible than when I use other threads.

I like the colors n these! I see what you mean by 'lopsided' on the second one. I think what it needs is a little round 'tail' for a finger on the backside in blue.
