Default She is Plain, but She is Done

I've been working on units for several quilts (small pieces), and I was feeling the need to finish something. This is from the "Wickedly Easy" quilt pattern (available free online). The pieces felt enormous! I'm not thrilled with the lack of color/value contrast, but she is soft and warm, and I'm sure someone will love her. I used leftover bits and pieces on the back.

I think it is lovely. What I remind myself sometimes when I am not in love with a charity quilt I just made---IS not everyone has my taste. Great use of the leftovers.

I just love the soft colors. Don't need a great contrast all of the time.

I think we are sometimes a little hard on ourselves. But your quilt is very nice. Be proud of your work and that you made it for a good cause.
