    ohhh i love it....i was read that book as a child by my mom and now i read it to my children i am going to have to make that quilt

    Thank you for sharing..my grown children still remember that book and my DD found an old copy of it and I read it to Grandkids !!

    Wouldn't a quilt made from those fabrics and a copy of the book make a wonderful baby or small child gift?

    PS: My SIL used to live on Grand Island, is that near you?

    May, Grand Island is about 35 minutes to the north of us. My oldest son works there at Fantasy Island, the amusement park that's been around for... probably 50 years or more!

    I like all of those fabrics but could do without the stripes if some must be left out! The moons are my favorite.
