    I was interested to see these pictures go up, because when the South Sea Imports sales rep came by in January, he brought preliminary pictures of this line; they were seeking input on fine-tuning the colors, particularly on the craft panel and the tiny leaves prints. So it was the first time I ever got the behind-the-scenes scoop on how the design process works.

    I thought the fabric manufacturers left the color selection entirely up to the artists / designers! But apparently not.

    How do you like this group?

    I really like all of them. Very nice! I would love yardage of some of the tone on tone and florals. Well maybe yardage of all would be even better.

    Personally, I wish they would have done the packed floral on a plum background rather than brown. But ... it seems they were afraid of purple, being a strong rather than neutral color.
