    Very interesting color combination that is sure to be very attractive when made into a wallhanging. Keep up the good work and show us your progress.

    Monale, are the blocks paper pieced? NYB is my favorite block but paper piecing and I are not friends and all the patterns seem to go in that direction. Yet women made the block years ago before there was any paper piecing. Look forward to seeing your finished quilt.

    Yes, I paper pieced the spiky part of the blocks. It's really not that hard, you should give it a try!
