Default Special Baby Quilt

I made this tumbler quilt for one of my daughter's best girlfriends and husband. The mom to be asked if I could put some of the fabric from her late grandmother's house dresses into the quilt. Unfortunately, I had already made the top (as soon as I knew she was preggers), so I decided to use the back. Two seersucker and 3 polyester fabrics threw me for a loop. Decided on the applique hearts with the embroidered flowers in the center. I thought the hearts of fabric were quite appropriate for the love for and from her grandmother above!

great quilt! I think the way you put the hearts on the back is better than using them in the front. The back they are the focus great job

This is a keeper for sure. Love the hearts and flowers. This child will know that they are surrounded by love from many generations. Super label. I also really like the front. BrendaK

Beautiful choice to honor the wishes of the expectant mother. This will be a very cherished quilt.

That is so pretty, and I too love the way you used those dresses on the back.
