Hi, this is for my grandaughter, the middle (turquoise blue print) was brought from Africa by her other grandmother 6 years ago for me to make her a dress (other gramma doesn't sew and I did a lot at the time). Anyway, I made the dress, she wore it a lot of times & her mom saved it and asked me if I could make a cushion or something. so, this is what I came up with, have never used "used fabric" but I washed (twice)the other cottons and have washed it so it turned out OK, guess everything was shrunk up evenly.

    Really nice..
I think you will be ok with the "recycled" fabric since you washed the new fabric twice. I will assume that you used the sturdier fabric from the dress.

That's what they used to do with old clothes back in the day LOL. It looks great and you DGD will be able to treasure her dress in a whole new way!

What a beautiful way to use it. So now she can always have that fabric.

I really like it. You would never know that you used recycled fabric!

I really love that quilt! The pattern is perfect for the fabric. Do you mind telling me where I can find the pattern?
