Emerald46, I got the pattern for the quilt from a book called Doorways, Windows and Transoms Stained Glass Pattern Book by Anna Croyle. I took it to Staples and had them enlarge it as big as they could which was 36" by 45". The book has several really beautiful patterns.

Anael - Don't be afraid to try, just pick a pattern and go for it. My way is really, really easy. Fused pieces to a piece of sheeting, glued yarn around the pieces, will zig-zag over the yarn, no batting - just backing and binding. Give it a try!

This is lovely. Thanks for the tip about the yarn and couching over it. I've always wanted to try a stained glass window, but was put off by the thought of managing the bias strips. Is the yarn and glue easier?
