Been sewing all day, should have been working on other projects but thought I'd start with just one block of my Lone Star..... twelve blocks later my shoulders are killing me and my eyes feel like they have sandpaper in them! LOL

The colours are not particularly accurate, it was about 10:30pm when I took this photo and the light is not that great. But you get the idea!

I'm really really pleased with how it's coming out, the points are going together beautifully, with minimal fuss. It's been slow but steady to put together, and the slow is just to make sure there's no mistakes. I can't wait to finish it!

Beginning of my No Diamond Lone Star. Each block is 9", so what's shown is 36" across.

That is so pretty! Love the colors and pattern. Is the no diamond one easier than the diamond. Suppose so since that is why you are doing it! How big are you making it?

Including the border it will be around 90 inches square. But that's with a plain border, I may be clinically insane by the time I get to the outside and add something else! LOL

This is going to be a beauty. I have not yet screwed up enough courage to attempt a Lone Star. They look HARD.
