    I guess no matter where you go there is a Texas.LOL I am originally from Galveston Island, Move to Lubbock near #1 son and his wife who is from SanAntonio. They just drove back from there, she is hispanic and Christmas is always at her families house for them. I am not too happy with Lubbock, too cold and windy for me, and DRY. LOL
