    Default Strings and HSTs

I do love making string quilts. This one is pretty plain, but the string blocks are always fun to look at. I also pieced the back and the binding. It is 80" x 90" and heavy!

Beautiful quilt! I love the mixing with HST and the alternate stripe pattern it makes! Are they 6” blocks?

Wow! I really like the string squares and HST. I'm wanting to do another string quilt, I'm going to keep this in mind.

Really like the layout of the front. Food for thought says the lady with the overflowing strings bin. Its either this or transfer strings to a larger container. I think this will win if I can find something in my stash that I like for the colored stripe. Thanks for the idea.

5" unfinished, but you could make them any size--thanks!
