I love those books. Now I think I must make one of the quilts. Yours is just beautiful. What a masterpiece.

The quilt is breathtaking. I love how black can make colors dance. I've been doing quilt therapy as well since my mom died. It takes another quilter to understand that it really does help.

I love your version of the SBS. I started one but just did not like the colors and it is sitting in a covered bin waiting for my attention. I am a bright and bold color person and yours, I love. I also think I started too early and my skill level was not ready for some of the squares. I am not considering changing color choices. Thanks for the inspiration!

Wonderful story and mothers are so dear whether they are with us or only living in our memory.

Gorgeous quilt, and a nice story to go along with it. My condolences on the loss of your mom.
