I was in Alaska, three different times. The first time I came up in October and stayed until first of December. The second time from May to June, The third time was again October thru November. I did not get to see Whales either of these three times, but was in an area between Anchorage and Soldotna where they sometmes came in. I did get to go to Homer and saw the Salmon and Hallibut being brought in on the boats. Saw eagles swooping down into the river to get fish, saw the norther lights several times, once for the airplane. Went sledding and enjoyed watching the kids with their sleds. Saw those sheep that cling to the side of the mountains, sailboat races at Homer, made lots of trips to Fred Myers and JoAnnes. Of course had moose in DD yard and swimming across river. Loved every minute, except did realize why people there can get cabin fever.

Yes there is a pattern but I don't have it you might want to Google it. A friend had everything cut for us and we were told what size of pre cut fabric to bring, & how much bias tape we would need. she even supplied the mugs for us that she purchased @ a local thrift store. This little mug is really great!
