    these are wonderful. do your colors come from stash or do you buy them especially?

    also, when you say three down, does that mean that you're planning even more? what energy! :roll: :roll: ahh, to be young and energetic. :lol:

    energetic? spurts of energy surrounded by hours of sluggery. :lol:
    young? i love your for saying so! :P

    the orange & blue have been in my stash for ages. the same goes for the red/white/blue. the navy floral was a fortunate find for only $2.98 a yard. i mixed it up with yellows from my stash.

    i don't usually buy fabrics for a specific quilt. everytime i need something specific, the search turns into work and frustration. :lol:

    soooo ... most of the time, i just buy fabrics i like and then design a quilt to use them. much less stressful. :P

    I have a similar take on charity quilts. I don't like to use patterns or fabrics that I wouldn't want to give to my best friend or have out for company.
