Default The Tiger is Tamed--My Challenge Quilt is DONE!

Perhaps you will remember my challenge quilt, to myself. This is a Jinny Beyer BOM free at her website. I got the bright idea to do stack n whack for the compasses which some were paper pieced so the fabric had to be reversed and then flipped. It proved to be quite a challenge for me. The Tiger is Done! Here are some pictures of the individual blocks. I think the one block had 84 pieces and those little octagons in the center were about 2 1/2 inches across. It is done and I am ready to move on to the next. I improvised to add length to it and added a half log cabin block and a plain border which is dark blue/black mottled fabric. It is 90 by 104 or thereabouts.

These are all thumbnails on my screen, so hope they don't go rogue and get big. Thank you for looking and for those who encouraged me to keep on keeping on.

Turned out really nice! And I love the improvised half log cabins at the ends...really rounds out the quilt I think. Great job!
