    Default Triple Ribbon Quilt

My brother's MIL breast cancer four times now, bladder cancer twice and lung cancer twice. She was recently told that she would have to undergo chemo for the rest of her life. Her granddaughter, my niece, was born in November and I made her a small pink ribbon quilt for her to snuggle up in while her parents did the breast cancer walk. The grandmother just loved the quilt, so I started concocting a plan to make her her own.

The large ribbons are made of twister blocks, the medium blocks are paper pieced and the tiny blocks are paper pieced.

Your quilt is truly lovely and I just know your brother's MIL will treasure it. Such a hard life for her - and you've made it just a little more comfortable, like a loving hug.
