Default Tshirt quilt wasn’t too bad to make!

This turned out to be about 60 inches square. This was made as a memory quilt for a friend’s daughter. The friend who died happened to be my husband’s best friend, so that made it kind of hard. I put off making this for the longest time. I dreaded it, actually. And then it turned out to go together and quilt up pretty easily! I used the thinnest cotton batting I could find and it turned out to be a nice weight even though I quilted it pretty heavily.

The daughter will really appreciate, cherish & be comforted by that beautiful quilt. I think you did a fantastic job on it even though it was emotionally hard on you while remembering you & your DH's friend.

You did well. I've made two T-shirt quilts now and now it doesn't seem hard at all.

What a thoughtful and memorable quilt for your friend's daughter. You really made it pop too with the addition of stars and
    sawtooth borders.

Nice t-shirt quilt. I really like the added color of the sawtooths. I'm sure it will be cherished.

Wow great job… was the thin batting Warm and white? I am working on one for our youngest daughter I have had the t-shirt in the early 2000’s.

ps just began working in it this June.
