I have a friend who is turning 75 and his 'baby' is a 1963 Ford Thunderbird in a seafoam/light teal color. I am always at a loss at what to do for him. So last Friday, Fabaddict, Nancy and I went to Batesville, AR to Marshall's, came back through Mountain View and hit 2 quilt shops there and then to Mountain Home and this is where I found this wonderful focus fabric for my Turning 9 quilt. So here is the quilt I made. I like to make Turning 9 quilts for Project Linus, they are just the perfect size for any child/teenager, 50" square. Thanks for looking.

We had a car show in our town last weekend. That quilt would have been such a hit if it had been hung

Cute. And thanks for telling me about his T-bird. I have a teal blue 1962 T-Bird. Love them!

Great quilt!! Perfect for someone who loves cars. Another option is to take a picture of his car and print it on fabric -- you could do that as part of the label even.
