    Default Twin Sized quilts finished!

I have a friend who lost his wife two years ago. Every second weekend he has his two grandchildren stay with him and he plans wonderful activities for them. So I decided the wonderful grandpa should have two quilts made! The blue and white one is a Jenny Doan pattern - the Zipper quilt. Not sure where I found the pattern for the pinwheel pattern but it was on the internet. I liked that pattern because the rows were offset, no matching seams etc. I gave him the quilts yesterday and he was thrilled! The quilts are a larger size than regular twins as both children have beds with storage so the quilt will have to be tucked under the mattress when making the bed.

Those are both beautiful, Tbill... I love pinwheels! What a great friend you are to do this for your friend's grandkids.
